Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Bank payment entries.
Expenses entries.
Daily bank updates in the system.
VAT preparation and reconciliation.
Supplier payments.
Import goods costing.
Execution of tax payments.
Assistance to external auditors for end of year financials.
Assistance and supervision of Accounting Officers for bookkeeping entries.
Assistance to the Chief Accountant for Management reports and any other assigned accounting tasks.

Key Skills/Experience:

An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other relevant field is desirable.
Holders of the LCCI Higher accounting certification are encouraged to apply.
Previous experience within a similar accounting and bookkeeping role is essential.
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel is a must.
Very good knowledge of the Greek language and good knowledge of English.
Knowledge of SoftOne ERP software will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
Any previous accounting/bookkeeping experience within the retail sector will be considered advantageous, but not essential.
