On behalf of our client, a professional and well-established Business Consulting firm located in Nicosia, we are looking to recruit a talented and professional individual to join the team as Junior Audit Associate.What you will be involved in:

Conducting audit procedures in accordance with professional standards
Reviewing financial information and audit documentation
Implementing company best practices to prepare financial statements, client correspondence and other audit-related documentation
Work closely with Senior Auditor/Manager to ensure clients receive the best possible service
Report any issues to Senior Auditor/Manager
Liaising with the Accounting department regarding the updating of client folders with relevant documentation
Preparation and submission of tax returns on behalf of clients
Performing other job-related duties as assigned

What you need:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a related field
Partly qualified or studying towards a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA/ACA)
1- 2 years of relevant auditing experience

Skills needed:

Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek
Excellent command of Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge of IFRSs and ISAs
Ability to work in a team
Organizational and time-management skills
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Customer-orientation
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
Ability to meet deadlines
