Our team is part of EY's Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.The transformation imperative is urgent, challenging and opportunity-rich, interested to join us?Your Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with clients in insurance sector to understand their fundamental business challenges and bring your experience to enable them to transform their business and solve their most complex problemsCoordinate client workshops, gather and document business & solution requirements and translate them into technical requirementsSupport our clients through an end-to-end process to design, agree and deliver their future solutionDefine & model solution requirements in different forms including requirement documents, stories, business process diagrams, low-fidelity mock-up, and technical designCollaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and the rest of the agile squadLead playback sessions and scope/user story walk-throughs to client stakeholdersAnalyze and reengineer business processes to implement them on a new insurance platform and digital solutionsIdentify and analyse problems and issues that may affect the successful delivery and adoption of proposed solution into the businessTo qualify for the role, you should haveMinimum 3 years experience as a software Business AnalystStrong understanding of the insurance domain, especially non-LifeExperience performing business analysis within a software development teamStrong experience in understanding business & solution requirements and translating them into technical requirementsAbility to analyse and document complex business processes, user stories and functional requirementsAnalytical mind set; critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflictsExcellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audienceIdeally you should also havePrior experience with EIS/Exigen, Guidewire, INSIS or similar core insurance platformsCertifications such as CCBA, PMP-PBA and/or CPREExperience working in agile software development environmentsA willingness to travel to meet client needsGood appreciation of current insurance market technology trends and how these are likely to impact key industry playersProactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectivelySkills and attributes for successAbility to work in a dynamic environment and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsSelf-driven and flexible, can work autonomously with a proven work ethicTeam player who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and disciplinesHard working professional with ability to work under pressureAble to exhibit a high level of confidentialityWhat working at EY offersEY offers an attractive remuneration package for rewarding both personal and team performance.
