- Accounting & Bookkeeping of client records which can involve multicurrency accounting entries and adjustments.
- Meeting all deadlines e.g. VAT Returns preparation, VIES Reporting, Social Insurance, Payroll, GESY.
- Knowledge and experience of working with the Cyprus Registrar of Companies
- Ensure compliance with AML legislation and carry out due diligence on clients.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- General Administrative duties relating to accounting work.
- General Administrative duties relating to secretarial work.
- Any other relevant duties as assigned by management.
- Identify and address tax and VAT issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, LCCI Higher, CAT
- Have at least 2 years accounting experience in Accounting Firm.
- Ability to work up to a Trial Balance review level and prepare the company for an audit.
- Good knowledge of Cyprus Taxation, VAT regulations, Payroll, Social Insurance, Registrar of Companies.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of accounting software packages and computer literate
- Fluent in both the Greek and English languages.
- Strong team leadership, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Minimum travel required.
