On behalf of our client, we are seeking a talented Mobile Developer to join their dynamic team in Nicosia and contribute to their ongoing success in the ever-evolving mobile technology for financial institutions. The company is considered a pioneer in their field with worldwide recognition and limitless opportunities.Role overview:As a Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of applications by ensuring performance quality and responsiveness. You will also be able to diagnose any dysfunctionalities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to invent and design new application features. The company values individuals who are proactive, adaptable, and passionate about pushing the boundaries of mobile development.Responsibilities:

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Diagnose performance issues and fix bugs to increase the functionality and performance of new applications.

Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Work with outside data sources and APIs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Must haves:

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
Ideally 2-3 years of proven experience in Android and/or iOS app development understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Experience with Android SDK
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

Advantages:

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

Experience with Kotlin programming language.

Experience with MVVM software architectural pattern

Understanding of code versioning tools

Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

Understanding of code versioning tools

Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
