Amega Group is seeking to hire a Senior QA Engineer to join our talented team for working on the company website, client area and mobile app.As a Senior QA Engineer, your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be joining a very professional product team, responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans, as well as identifying and reporting any defects or issues. Your expertise in both manual and automation testing will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our software development process. You will have an opportunity to bring your ideas to live, revisit existing test processes or build new ones.Main Activities and Responsibilities:Perform manual testing for a website and mobile application (Android and iOS)Follow QA processes and best practices and improve themDevelop and execute test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software productsIdentify, document, and track software defects and issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve themCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coveragePerform both manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and securityDesign and maintain test environments, test data, and test toolsStay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testingRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related fieldProven experience as a QA Engineer or similar roleStrong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processesProficiency in manual testing, automation is a plusExperience with test automation platform: xRay, Allure or similarExperience with some popular testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwrite, Appium, WenDriver.IOExperience with any of end-to-end testing automation tools is a plusFamiliarity with programming languages like JavaScript or TypesScriptSolid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologiesStrong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a teamUnderstanding of API testingSkills:Atlassian stack (Jira / Confluence), PostmanExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsBe a good listener and communicatorProficiency in English languageExperience in load testing is a plusPerks & Benefits:We believe happy teams do great work — here’s what you’ll enjoy with us:✨ 21 days of annual leave (plus all Cyprus public holidays!)
