We are looking for an Accountant to join our client's team and support the day-to-day financial operations within a dynamic, CySEC-regulated environment. The ideal candidate for this role would be a highly motivated, hard-working person, well organised, with good attention to details and the ability to work under pressure with the great ability of meeting deadlines.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIESHandling daily bookkeeping: processing bank transactions, sales & purchase invoices, and general journal entriesManaging fixed assets: calculating depreciation and maintaining the fixed assets register quarterlyPreparing quarterly accounts up to the Trial Balance stageReconciling company and client asset statementsAssisting with statutory and internal reporting (including CAD, QST, EFI, and SHS)Supporting internal and external audit processesReporting directly to the Executive DirectorsCANDIDATE PROFILEFluency in English (Russian language skills are a plus)Familiarity with accounting softwareA degree in Finance or partial qualification from a recognised professional accounting body (e.g. ACCA, ACA)Previous experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within a CySEC-regulated firmStrong communication and interpersonal skills — references from previous roles or institutions will be requiredDue to the high volume of applications, we receive at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.To apply for this position, please email your CV to Hayley Buckle, quoting the above job reference or call +357 25 342724 for further information.
