On behalf of our Client, a well-established Shipping company, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Junior Crewing Officer to be based in Limassol. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Junior Crewing Officer role to be based in Limassol.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure mandatory crew documentation is on file prior to crew embarkationResearch travel solutions and book flight, train, and bus tickets for crewPrepare and send out travel information to crew, vessel, operations, and agentsParticipate in cross-training to enable step-up vacation support for the Crewing Officer positionCross-check invoices for crew flights and uniform deductionsHandle online registration and de-registration of crew with the health insurance companyProvide administrative support to Crewing Officers and Visa Control Officer where possibleCANDIDATE PROFILEExperience in the crewing department or in the shipping industryDegree in Shipping, Human Resources, or a related field is an advantageGood organizational and communication skills requiredFlexible and able to cope with pressure when immediate changes are neededTeam player with attention to detail and an independent working styleFluent in English and Greek (verbal and written); German is an advantageCOMPANY BENEFITS
