We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client - a fast-growing iGaming product company operating in over 30 countries - is looking for a Middle Data Engineer to join their data analytics team in Cyprus. The company develops advanced casino and sports betting platforms and is now scaling its core analytics capabilities.NDACyprusFull-timeResponsibilities:Design and maintain scalable data warehouse solutionsBuild ETL pipelines integrating multiple data sourcesOptimize database performance and ensure data qualityCollaborate with analysts, engineers, and product teamsApply best practices for data modeling and governanceTroubleshoot ETL/database issues, ensure system reliabilityMonitor data security and compliance standardsRequirements:2+ years in a Data Engineering role, preferably in iGamingExcellent SQL (optimization, complex queries, indexing)Experience with Python and Apache AirflowStrong knowledge of data warehousing concepts & architectureSolid experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, CTEUnderstanding of data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)Familiarity with ClickHouse, Kafka, cloud DWHs (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)Comfortable working with GIT and Agile environmentsEnglish - work level; Russian-speaking teamNice to have:Bash scripting, PysparkPrevious experience with gambling or betting productsUnderstanding of real-time pipelines, high-load systemsBenefits:Modern Office in central Limassol - 3 floors, ergonomic setup, smart climate control, Wolt lunches, premium coffee/snacks
