A leading freight forwarding and logistics company operating across regional integrated logistics provider, offering comprehensive transport, warehousing, and customs services. With a strong regional footprint and a wide range of specialized capabilities, they serve as both an exporter/importer support hub and a customs agent, catering to diverse industries. The role could be based in Limassol or Nicosia.BenefitsWorking Hours & Conditions:Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (½-hour break)Location: Fully on-siteLeave: 21 days annual leave + 4 hours/month for emergency use (not deducted)Overtime: Not required by policy; if approved by management, it is paidCompensation & Benefits:Salary: 13th salary includedBonuses: Annual bonus or quarterly commission based on company targetsRetirement: Provident fund to be implemented soonProfessional Growth: Opportunities for development in a global maritime settingabout the roleRESPONSIBILITIESContribute to the execution of departmental policies, procedures, and the achievement of sales targets.Lead and participate in weekly sales team meetings to drive alignment and performance.Plan and conduct individual client visits, as well as joint visits with senior leadership for high-value accounts.Maintain a personal pipeline of 4 strategic accounts per month and complete a minimum of 40 sales visits (combined individual and joint).Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team with strong accountability and results focus.Ensure monthly department budgets and targets are met through effective planning and execution.Oversee and monitor daily team activities, ensuring each sales executive secures 5 new clients and completes 60 visits per month targeting key accounts.Collaborate on the development of a strategic sales plan in coordination with leadership, with monthly progress reviews.Ensure client quotations are prepared and delivered within 24 hours, followed by consistent and professional follow-up.Oversee smooth client transitions to operations and customer service, ensuring a seamless handover experience.Support cross-departmental initiatives and campaigns to enhance commercial success.Validate and oversee credit account approvals through appropriate channels prior to activation.Actively generate qualified sales leads across the full product/service portfolio.Review sales meeting outcomes, delegate actionable tasks, and ensure timely follow-up and execution.Provide daily guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to the sales team.Conduct monthly performance reviews with leadership on sales activities and departmental performance.Participate in annual business planning and strategic development to support long-term growth objectives across all product lines.Foster strong client relationships by presenting value-driven solutions and maintaining a consultative, client-focused approach.Recruit, onboard, train, and manage sales team members, including performance management and succession planning.Prepare and submit key reports, including:Weekly Customer Visit ReportsMonthly Team Performance & Improvement ReportsSupport efforts in the collection of overdue accounts as necessary.Adapt to evolving business needs, including new technologies, services, and regulatory requirements, and perform additional responsibilities as needed with appropriate training and support.basic information:REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor in Business Administration - Marketing Emphasis
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping line operations, specifically in export/import processes
