- Define and communicate the overarching vision and strategy for the CFT Product Family.
- Ensure alignment with corporate objectives and priorities, acting as a bridge between executive leadership, stakeholders, and product teams.
- Lead roadmap reviews and planning sessions in collaboration with business partners to align on priorities, delivery timelines, and resource needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Product Family using key metrics (e.g., customer satisfaction, delivery timelines, business impact).
- Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities across the product landscape and escalate critical issues as needed.
- Resolve cross-product dependencies and ensure cohesive delivery across multiple agile squads.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Technical Product Owners (TPOs) within the Product Family.
- Support TPOs in backlog prioritisation, stakeholder engagement, and delivery planning.
- Ensure consistency in agile practices and product management standards across squads.
- Act as a key collaborator to enable Level 3 support, working closely with Application Management and Level 2 support teams to ensure smooth issue resolution and product stability.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure product direction meets user needs and business goals.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and strategic planning workshops to define and refine product roadmaps.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Promote data-driven decision-making and ensure high ROI on development efforts.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, agile delivery, or technology leadership roles.
- Proven track record of delivering customer and business value in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working with agile squads.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at both strategic and operational levels.
- Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform product decisions.
- Experience in delivering client-facing technology solutions, ideally within the financial services industry.
- Industry-recognised Agile certifications (e.g., PSPO I or equivalent).
- Familiarity with UX principles and their application in software development.
- SQL Expertise: Strong ability to write and interpret SQL queries, with confidence navigating relational data models and extracting insights from structured datasets.
- Data Analysis & ETL Understanding: Solid grasp of data analysis techniques and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, including how data flows through enterprise systems.
- UX Principles: Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and their application in software development, particularly in client-facing platforms.
- Infrastructure & SDLC Awareness: Familiarity with internal technical standards, infrastructure processes, test environments, and production deployment paths, including the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Observability & Monitoring: Experience with cloud-based monitoring and analytics platforms such as DataDog, with the ability to interpret dashboards and performance metrics across the stack.
