QA Engineer

• Evaluate the functionality of applications and their compliance with specifications
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and plans tailored to specific software components and customized solutions
• Identify, document, and communicate software defects to the development team for resolution.
• Investigate and replicate customer-reported issues for further analysis.
• Generate and analyze statistical data to compile detailed test reports.
• Offer actionable suggestions for improving software solutions
• Collaborate effectively within an agile framework, engaging with multiple cross-functional teams.
• A break-it mentality: can identify, anticipate, and prevent subtle software defects and various corner cases where things can go wrong
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and focus on the highest product quality standards.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills conducive to effective teamwork
• Great analytical skills to identify possible weak points in functionalities
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with techniques for manually testing Web and desktop applications
• Extensive desktop app testing experience
• You are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
• Enthusiastic about collaborating with a diverse and dynamic team.

• Proven experience in software quality assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodology, and types of testing such as white box and smoke tests
• Hands-on experience with testing artifacts such as test plans, designs, cases, and bug reports.
• Experience with databases
• Proficiency in upper-intermediate English or higher.
• Proficiency in methods and tools for API testing.
• Experience in OCR, NLP and related technologies
• Prior knowledge and experience in ABBYY Products and technologies
• Creativity and willingness to learn new technologies
