An established island-wide public utility company is working with GRS Recruitment to recruit Junior Plant Operators to join their team in Limassol to keep and maintain Cyprus’s vital water supply. The company is well-organised and provides free on-site training for successful candidates. The work required will take place at the Limassol plant on a 12-hour shift basis within the PLC Control room.   • Manual data recording of Plant operation
  • Monitoring plant equipment / processes from various locations of the plant
  • Sample collection and lab analyses
  • Operating plant process units and using the PLC computer system
  • Carrying out special tasks for improving plant operations
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Higher Education Diploma in technical / chemical or relevant field.
  • 1 years’ experience working in a similar industrial environment, preferably in production / process or chemical industries will be an advantage
  • Must have hands-on with practical skills
  • Able to work with multi-skilled technical teams
  • Have analytical skills and be able to make decisions
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a 24/7 operating plant.
  • Available for an immediate start
