- Set up, configure, and maintain VOIP telephony systems (e.g., Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, or similar).
- Manage VOIP servers, PBXs, SIP trunks, call routing, and dial plans.
- Monitor voice systems to ensure high uptime, quality, and performance across all brands.
- Troubleshoot and resolve voice-related issues, including call quality, latency, and connection failures.
- Implement security protocols to safeguard voice systems from breaches or misuse.
- Work closely with IT, customer support, and sales teams to understand telephony needs and ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain documentation of system architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Support future migrations, integrations, and scaling efforts as the company grows.
- Proven experience as a VOIP Engineer or similar role, ideally within a fast-paced or regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of VOIP systems (preferably Asterisk-based or 3CX), SIP protocols, and network fundamentals.
- Experience with call center solutions, CRM integrations, and multi-brand telephony management.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.).
- Knowledge of Linux-based systems and scripting (bash, python) is a plus.
