An innovative and sustainable pet supplies company with headquarters in Cyprus is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire an Accounting Assistant for their Nicosia based team. The successful candidate will be working on a part-time basis from 08:30-13:30 Monday-Friday and will be providing accounting assistance to the Department. If this role sounds interesting to you, GRS looks forward to receiving your CV for this Nicosia based Accounting Assistant role.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBe responsible for reporting and recording entries, sales and expenses.Deal with the preparation of deposits and payments.Deal with reconciliations of bank accounts.Register entries and updating the company's accounting books (ledgers)Deal with the Control and verification of book entries.Deal with the preparation of balance sheets (bank accounts, accounts payable)Reconciliation of the remaining creditorsChecking the correct distribution of supplier invoices to those responsible for signatureClearing remaining suppliers with debit balances as customersFilingOther ad hoc duties that may be assignedCANDIDATE PROFILEBachelor’s degree in accounting or holder of LCCI HigherAt least 2 years of previous working experienceFluency in Greek and English, both written and verbalStrong attention to detail skillsStrong organization and time-management skillsTeam-playerDue to the high volume of applications, we receive at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.To apply for this position, please email your CV to Kristina Razorenova, quoting the above job reference or call +357 25 342 720 for further information.
