During the construction phase, City of Dreams Mediterranean is expected to create an estimated 4,000 local job opportunities, and approximately 2,500 permanent jobs once open.Melco also operates Cyprus Casinos in Nicosia, Ayia Napa, Paphos, and Limassol.POSITION SUMMARY:The Head Waiter is responsible for providing service assistance in an assigned area to ensure the highest level of food and beverage service and guest relations in accordance with City of Dreams Mediterranean vision, values and objectives.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works in an assigned Outlet, ensuring all F&B Standard Operating Procedures are followed
Assists in cashier, bartender, host or steward tasks if requested by the Outlet Supervisor
Anticipates guests need and strives to exceed their expectations by following guidelines given by Management
Recognizes regular customers, welcomes, smiles and maintains visual contact with every guest
Ensures that all products and services are delivered accurately and in a timely manner
Performs tasks to ensure readiness of the Outlet
Follows opening and closing procedures, by keeping the outlet clean and organized both at the front as well as the heart of the house
Prepares working stations and ensures all equipment is organized, clean and in well condition
Exhibits a thorough understanding of all related services and products and the ability to recommend and upsell alternatives when appropriate
Holds a thorough knowledge of the casino and hotel layout in order to ensure that guest queries can be answered or referred promptly
Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming
Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required
Adheres to all Company policies and procedures
Reports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisors
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors due to business requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:Experience
Minimum 2 – 3 years of working experience in a similar role in the Hotel Industry
Education
High School diploma
Qualifications related to the Hospitality Industry is an advantage

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent command of English, Greek and other languages highly regarded
