Our client, a leading financial services consultancy group, is looking to recruit a Junior Java Developer to work from their offices in Limassol. The Junior Java Developer will write clean, concise, and efficient code for the development and release of software that satisfies both the team and clients.Responsibilities:

Develop in an agile environment and release software on a regular schedule
Research and introduce new technologies
Gain experience with microservices architecture
Follow best practices for information security
Work closely with system analysts and regulatory compliance experts to define software requirements
Leverage cloud infrastructure for high availability
Write clean, concise, and efficient code

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a relevant field
Knowledge of Java
OOP principles
Algorithms and data structures
Experience with databases and SQL
Innovative problem-solving skills that will produce workable solutions
A positive attitude
Flexible and highly adaptable to new situations
Excellent communication skills
A team player yet with an innate ability to think independently and creatively
Fluent Greek and English skills

Working hours:

The working hours are Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 with 1 hour lunch break. There is flexibility regarding starting times from 08:30 – 09:30 and finish work accordingly.
Afternoon off on Fridays or Wednesdays (to be agreed with Manager)
Working from home 1-2 times per week depending on workload.
