The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures specific to passive investment strategies. You will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with alternative investments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. GRS looks forward to receiving your CV for this Risk Manager role.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools specific to passive investment strategies, including alternative investments analysis, liquidity risk assessment, and stress testing.Identify, measure, and monitor key risk factors affecting passive investment portfolios, such as market risk, tracking error risk, counterparty risk, and liquidity risk.Conduct ongoing risk assessments and scenario analyses to evaluate the potential impact of adverse market conditions or unexpected events on portfolio performance and risk exposures.Collaborate with portfolio managers, research analysts, and compliance officers to ensure that passive investment strategies adhere to risk limits, guidelines, and investment policies.Monitor and report on portfolio risk metrics, performance attribution, and compliance with regulatory requirements, providing timely insights and recommendations to senior management and investment committees.Participate in the development of risk management reports, presentations, and client communications, conveying complex risk concepts and insights in a clear and concise manner.Stay informed of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risk trends related to passive investing, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance risk management practices.Foster a culture of risk awareness, transparency, and accountability across the organization, promoting a collaborative and disciplined approach to risk management.CANDIDATE PROFILEBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
