- Preparation of Management accounts.
- Preparation of journals and post entries.
- Process cash receipts, reconciliations, bookkeeping and payment requests.
- Payroll preparation.
- Preparation of accounting records based on international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- VAT prepartion; liaise with Cyprus Tax and VAT authorities.
- Assist in the audit of the entities international financial reporting standards (IFRS) ensuring on-time tax and statutory filing.
- Liaising with banks, auditors and clients ensuring smooth business operations.
- Working in a team and supporting in servicing clients, assisting with day-to-day requests and responding to their needs.
- University degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a related field is highly advantageous.
- Approximately 2 to 5 years of professional accounting experience is essential.
- Previous experience working in the Corporate Services sector or similar is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Proficient computer literacy.
- Previous experience working with BTMS accounting software will be considered an advantage.
- Good interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must possess great attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize own work to meet set deadlines.
