Our team is part of EY's Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.The transformation imperative is urgent, challenging and opportunity-rich, interested to join us?Your Key Responsibilities:Developing and maintaining cloud-native Java-based microservicesParticipating in technical solution design and solution architecture definition ensuring security, high-availability, scalability, resiliency, and recoverabilityWriting and executing unit testsSupporting and performing software deployments and releasesPerforming root-cause analysis to identify cause of defects and bugsCollaborating within the agile team and across the wider project to achieve project and client goalsUsing observability tools to monitor application performance and making necessary adjustments to improve performance and reliability.Skills and attributes for success:Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or other related fieldBetween 2 to 3 years related work experienceExperience with Service Oriented environments and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring, Spring MVC,)Experience with source code managementKnowledge of securing applications, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.Very good knowledge of SQL and DBMSKnowledge of clean code and unit testingExperience implementation software following agile methodologiesStrong communication skillsExcellent English language verbal and written communicationAbility to work in a dynamic environment and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsSelf-driven and flexible, can work autonomously with a proven work ethicTeam player who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and disciplinesAble to exhibit a high level of confidentialityIdeally you should also have:Experience implementing cloud-native microservicesCertificates proving certain skills such as Java, Spring Boot, SQL or related skillsKnowledge of Docker and KubernetesExperience with continuous integration and automated deploymentExperience working with AWS or Azure cloud platformsExperience with events-driven architectures using Kafka or similar technologiesExperience using Spring Cloud Config Server or other similar platformsWhat we offer youAt EY, we'll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
