GRS Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-known and established Online Gaming Company who are searching for a Head of Business Intelligence. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Head of BI, offering tailored insights and analysis in dynamic settings. They should excel in relational databases, reporting software, and digital analytics, synthesizing data from diverse sources to provide clear recommendations. Strong communication skills are essential, with a preference for candidates holding degrees in physics, mathematics, or statistics. If this sounds like the position for you, please reach out to GRS Recruitment for more information.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAs the Head of Business Intelligence & Performance, you will be expected to have extensive experience in data analysis and visualisation, as well as a strong understanding of business operations and performance metrics.You will also need to be highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Partner with a variety of business teams and external agencies to gather, document and maintain business requirements that will inform data modelling decisionsLead the strategic design, delivery and maintenance of the business intelligence program that will support institutional prioritiesProvide vision and leadership to ensure maturation of business intelligence within the institutionCollaboratively and extensively investigate, analyze and interpret business information needs based on a strong understanding of business processes, drivers and prioritiesDevelop and implement governance and post-implementation evaluation over all activities to ensure outcomes achieved meet institutional objectivesIdentify data quality issues and support information governance by participating in necessary activities and assisting in the development of and adherence to database and development standardsProvide high level conceptual and technical expertise and understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence best practice.Experience working with multi-nationals with the ability to assimilate relevant cultural and regulatory differencesCompile data from various sources into a single, consumable, data set, including design and implementation of data modelsUse quantitative analysis to analyse data and help drive business decisionsIdentify opportunities for increased automation and efficiency through technical solutionExperience in building customer lifetime value modelsHelp department managers with ad hoc projections and other modelling tasksDeliver day to day data requestIdentify cost saving opportunitiesExperience in creating financial modellingUtilize a hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach to design, construct, and rapidly test/iterate exploratory data-mining analyses to reveal insightInterprets and communicates insights to senior managementWorks with business leaders to identify and develop metrics and visualizations that will track performance and highlight potential inefficienciesYou will require strong analytical acumen with the ability to uncover insights and create stories by seamlessly integrating a variety of data sourcesThe ability to work with large, complex data sets across multiple platforms and design efficient processes to provide accurate and timely information is crucialExperience in mixed marketing modelling, understanding the impact of above the line/branding activity on acquisition channelsUnderstanding of the general digital marketing landscape and how each channel interacts to create a conversionCANDIDATE PROFILEAt least 4 years' experience in data science or related fieldAt least 2 years’ experience in a managerial roleExperience in the gaming industry is beneficial but not requiredExperience with prediction models and quantitative analysisSQL and Tableau experience is beneficialUnderstanding of digital tracking, measurement, and reporting toolsExcellent communication and leadership abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication in the English LanguageTeamworking skills – the ability to build relationships internally and externally, with experience working with third party agenciesStrong organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects as onceStrong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice would be beneficialTrustworthinessDue to the high volume of applications we receive at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.To apply for this position, please email your CV to Hayley Buckle, Hayley@grsrecruitment.com quoting the above job reference or call +357 25 342 720 for further information.
