We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled and ambitious system administrator to join our team of excellence. You will be working under the Head of Infrastructure and work with the Silensec Research and Operations teams supporting both the installation and maintenance of CYBER RANGES platform deployments as well as be in charge of a number of operational infrastructure tasks. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the cutting-edge development of CYBER RANGES next-generation cyber range platform, working on a number of advanced domains in cloud computing, distributed storage, high-availability architectures and more.

Responsibilities

Perform remote deployment, maintenance and support of CYBER RANGES platform for different clients worldwide.
Participate in research and development to continuously improve CYBER RANGES and other Silensec products and services as appropriate
Support the operation of the company's ICT and cloud infrastructure through different activities such as installation of hardware and software, management of servers and clients
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
Troubleshoot issues and outages
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
Develop internal wikis and documentation to support operations and knowledge transfer.

Salary Competitive, based on competence and experience

Desired Skills and Experience

5+ years long and proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
5+ years long and proven experience in managing large infrastructures with different server OS deployments
Familiarity with various client operating systems and platforms
Networking experience in configuring complex networking architectures including VPNs, Proxies, advanced routing architectures and more
Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other languages
Experience with a range of security solutions such as intrusion detection systems, WAFs, database activity monitoring, Log Management systems etc is a plus
Strong work ethics and professionalism
An insatiable desire to learn and develop professionally.
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
