- Maintaining the accounting records of client companies and perform reconciliations of control accounts, including all bank, debtor, and creditor accounts.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Handling VAT/VIES compliance for client companies.
- Advise clients on Tax, VAT and IFRS matters.
- Identifies and resolves VAT/Tax risk issues, promptly during the accounting process.
- Mitigates risk through review and involvement of senior people within the firm.
- Interacting with clients.
- Handling tax compliance matters for client companies (such as preparation of annual tax returns, provisional tax computations, etc.).
- Payroll preparation.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant field.
- Holders of, or those working towards any professional accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant position is a must.
- Ability to work effectively within a team, under pressure and with strict deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
