With a strong reputation for professionalism and innovation, our client delivers tailored financial solutions to meet the sophisticated needs of its clientele.Role OverviewReporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Back Office / Operations Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of daily banking operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an operations professional with prior banking experience to join a reputable institution and contribute to the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of its back-office functions.Key Responsibilities:

Process daily banking transactions (payments, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, remittances)
Reconcile nostro and internal accounts to ensure accuracy
Generate FX deals and interbank placements
Prepare manual SWIFT payments and liaise with correspondent banks
Monitor money flows across bank and correspondent accounts
Publish daily foreign currency rates on the bank's system
Manage opening/renewal of customer fixed deposits and maintain deposit registries
Handle filing, account registries, and outgoing mail

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
2 - 4 years of proven banking operations experience
Proficiency in core banking systems and SWIFT
Strong MS Excel and reporting capabilities
Familiarity with AML/KYC requirements and banking regulations

What is on offer:

Monthly Gross Salary: EUR 2,200 - EUR 2,400 (depending on experience and qualifications)
14 salaries per year
Working hours: Mon - Thur (8:00 am - 3:30 pm) and Fri (8:00 am - 3:00 pm)
