- Monitoring and analyzing regulatory updates, staying informed about changes in betting regulations and identifying potential areas of impact for the company.
- Preparing and maintaining compliance documentation, assisting with the creation and upkeep of policies, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
- Assisting in conducting compliance audits and reviews, assisting the AMLCO in mitigating potential compliance risks through regular audits and reviews of internal processes and controls.
- Supporting investigations and complaints, assisting with investigating potential compliance breaches and responding to customer complaints related to compliance issues.
- Liaising with regulatory authorities, assist the AMLCO in gathering evidence needed for communication with relevant regulatory authorities and providing any necessary information or reports.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of compliance training programs, assist the AMLCO in training the staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Assist and manage transaction monitoring systems to identify suspicious activity, potential fraud, and money laundering risks.
- An academic background in Law or any other relevant field is desirable.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a compliance focused role is essential.
- Any previous experience working in Online Gaming or Gambling will be considered a significant advantage, but not essential.
- Strong understanding of relevant betting regulations in Cyprus and the European Union.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
