GRS Recruitment is searching for a Head of Portfolio Management to join a forward-thinking team in Larnaca. The successful candidate will lead and evolve our clients' investment management function, delivering high-performance, risk-adjusted portfolios aligned with individual client goals and regulatory expectations.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead the design and implementation of discretionary portfolio strategies tailored to individual client mandates and market opportunities.Ensure every portfolio aligns with investment objectives, regulatory guidelines, risk appetite, and liquidity preferences.Oversee day-to-day portfolio managementContinuously monitor performance against benchmarks and client expectations, adjusting as needed.Conduct client suitability assessments and prepare investment policies that clearly define objectives and constraints.Collaborate closely with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure all strategies remain within internal and external risk boundaries.Conduct stress tests, scenario analyses, and performance simulations to evaluate portfolio resilience.Safeguard client interests through strong governance, avoiding conflicts of interest and ensuring best execution standards.Ensure end-to-end compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies governing portfolio management.Prepare and contribute to formal reporting processes for regulators, boards, and audit committees.Support audits, risk reviews, and internal assessments by providing transparent, accurate, and timely information.Provide clear, actionable reporting to senior leadership on portfolio performance, compliance status, and strategic KPIs.CANDIDATE PROFILE

Extensive experience in portfolio or investment management within a regulated financial institution.
Strong understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk assessment, and investment suitability.
Demonstrated ability to lead investment teams and manage across functions, including risk, compliance, and client advisory.
Deep knowledge of relevant regulations, risk frameworks, and reporting standards.
Analytical mindset with a strong grasp of financial markets and macroeconomic trends.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Relevant certifications (e.g. CFA, CAIA) or regulatory approvals are a plus.
Solid experience in portfolio management, or a related role under regulated supervision.
Offer an extensive background in investment and trading experience spanning traditional and/or digital asset classes
Proven expertise in fundamental and technical analysis.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in risk management, and data analytics tools.
The candidate must hold or be willing to obtain the CySEC Advanced Certificate.
