Accountant (Real Estate & Construction)

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Recording of transactions.
  • Liaising with associates for completion of bookkeeping.
  • Reconciling outgoing payments, bank accounts, foreign currency exchange differences and inter-company accounts.
  • Assisting in the audit process and preparing relevant documentation.
  • Preparing of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Managing all financial transactions and payments.
  • Managing balance sheet and profit/loss accounts.
  • Handling accruals and pre-payments on invoices issued and received.
  • Preparing loan calculations and relevant documents.
  • Any other tasks as specified by Management related to professional capacity.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of previous work experience in Accounting within the Construction and/or Real Estate industries.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software and related systems is a must.
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English and Greek language.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of concentration.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
