You can find out more about eToro .We’re looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our global finance department as part of the Cyprus Accounting Team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial records, while supporting smooth reporting processes. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the finance function and report directly to the Financial Controller.What will you be doing?

Perform daily recording and posting of financial transactions into our ERP system for a group of Companies.
Verify the accuracy of data and data processing of accounting and bookkeeping-related information.
Assist in preparing financial reports and reconciliations as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls and financial policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to verify and reconcile financial data, and identify and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes as required.
Other internal reconciliations and reporting as could be required.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
Experience working with Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
Experience in business intelligence platforms (like Tableau) and in AI- driven tools and solutions is a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent use of the English language (oral and written).
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage daily, time-sensitive tasks effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to prioritize and cope in a fast-paced environment.
