- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, adhering to relevant local regulations and tax laws.
- Accurately record and manage invoices from suppliers, ensuring they are matched with purchase orders and contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of all payments issued, ensuring timely disbursement and correct documentation.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Monitor and record all petty cash expenses, ensuring proper allocation to accounts.
- Manage and issue purchase orders for subcontractors, ensuring correct documentation and alignment with project budgets.
- Maintain accurate entries in the general ledger, including adjustments, payments, and other financial transactions.
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Approximately 3+ years of proven experience in payroll and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus tax regulations, Social Insurance, and payroll systems.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of payroll and accounting best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
