Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, adhering to relevant local regulations and tax laws.
  • Accurately record and manage invoices from suppliers, ensuring they are matched with purchase orders and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all payments issued, ensuring timely disbursement and correct documentation.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are identified and resolved.
  • Monitor and record all petty cash expenses, ensuring proper allocation to accounts.
  • Manage and issue purchase orders for subcontractors, ensuring correct documentation and alignment with project budgets.
  • Maintain accurate entries in the general ledger, including adjustments, payments, and other financial transactions.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Approximately 3+ years of proven experience in payroll and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus tax regulations, Social Insurance, and payroll systems.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of payroll and accounting best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
