Product & Innovation Director

• Define and implement a cohesive strategy for product development and innovation that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the organization, encouraging creative thinking and the exploration of new ideas, technologies, and business models.
• Acting as a beacon, attracting, and nurturing bright ideas from all corners of the organization, then filtering and refining these ideas like a miner sifting for gold.
• Guiding the R&D team's exploration of new technologies and methodologies, akin to leading a team of explorers into new territories.
• Develop and communicate a clear vision for the company's products and oversee the creation and execution of product roadmaps that meet future customer needs and market trends.
• Serve as a bridge between various departments (such as R&D, marketing, sales, and finance), ensuring alignment and fostering collaboration across teams to achieve product and innovation goals.
• Keep abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Oversee the product portfolio, making strategic decisions regarding product development priorities, resource allocation, and lifecycle management, including introduction, growth, maturity, and decline phases.
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, build strategic relationships, and advocate for the product vision and innovation initiatives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product success and innovation efforts, including market adoption, customer satisfaction, and return on investment.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of product managers and innovation specialists, providing direction and support to achieve strategic objectives.

• This position requires a Bachelor or Master Degree in Economics or Engineering.
• 10+ year of experience working in similar roles in digital and/or e-commerce companies.
• Track record of management of innovation projects.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English
• Spanish (A2 or higher) is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive strategic planning and execution.
• Extensive experience in product management, development, and innovation within the e-commerce or related industries in the digital space.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing a range of stakeholders.
• A visionary mindset with a passion for technology and innovation, combined with a practical approach to execution.
