- Responsible for creating presentations for event pitches to the management team, under the guidance of the Entertainment Content Manager
- Does extensive research of potential partners and, working with the investigations team ensures all COD partners are at the highest possible standard
- Assists in the booking of artists and touring productions, and engaging with event companies, etc. Including but not limited to: live music and concerts, parties with popular DJ’s, themed events, film screenings, art installations, exhibitions, acrobatic and aerialist performances, touring and local plays and musicals, operas, sporting events, festivals, immersive experiences, cultural performances, local tournaments and competitions, seasonal activities, and other live events and performances, etc. to take place in one of our many venues. Both internal and external events. Venues include an Expo Hall, Event and Mediterranean Lawns, Amphitheatre, Resort Pool Deck, Ballroom
- Provide booking support for Expos and Conferences as required in collaboration with the stage and Events members of the department
- Keeps up to date on all events occurring in Cyprus and target regions, namely Israel, Middle East, Europe and UK
- Assists in the preparation of proformas under the guidance of the Entertainment Content Manager and Senior Production Manager
- Follows up on tasks and works closely with all business units at the behest of the Entertainment Content Manager
- To ensure our productions are delivered in a positive, collaborative and professional manner.
- To facilitate entertainment activation meetings, attend production meetings and discussions on all shows, events, and other matters relating to the entertainment and special event content.
- To keep up to date with forthcoming shows, events, workshops and other activities in COD Mediterranean
- To actively seek out and help implement improvements in the way we work.
- You may be required to work offsite on projects away from the building on occasion.
- Required to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Any other reasonable duties required to assist the Entertainment Dept or the COD Med operation as a whole.
- Assess and collate information relating to talent riders
- Education in fine arts / theatre practices / commercial entertainment practices or experience within theatrical environment preferred
- Prior experience in talent/touring agencies highly preferred
- Prior experience booking named talent as a client, connection with the European and Middle Eastern regions is a great advantage
- Experience working with multiple venues simultaneously is preferred
- Flexibility
- Contract knowledge and strong administrative capabilities is a plus
- Office suite (particularly strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint)
