Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target potential clients through business analysis and research and building new client relationships to generate new business opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients.
  • Develop a solid understanding of insurance services and solutions offered by the Company to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to stay ahead of the curve and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Maintain and update a sales pipeline, tracking all sales activities and providing accurate forecasts to management.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and targets set by the company.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of all sales activities, including contact information, sales calls, and opportunities.
  • Attend conferences, networking events, and client meetings to promote the firm's services.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Law, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management is required.
  • Any previous experience working in the Insurance sector will be considered a plus, but not essential.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English and Greek in both written and verbal communication.
  • License for conducting general insurance business by the Insurance Institute of Cyprus is a plus, or at least willing to undertake it.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel abroad as required.
