Senior CSR Executive - CyprusThe Role:We are looking for a passionate Senior Corporate Social Responsibility Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our CSR programs, including overseeing our corporate giving portfolio and providing senior oversight for the CSR team. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, an understanding of both social impact and financial oversight, and the ability to drive initiatives that align with our corporate mission while enhancing our community presence.The main responsibilities of the position include:
  • Develop and execute CSR strategies, policies and procedures aligned with company values and goals.
  • Manage the corporate giving portfolio, including evaluating funding requests, conducting due diligence on recipient organizations, and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
  • Oversee the CSR budget, ensuring the strategic allocation of funds for both strategic initiatives (long-term, structured programs) and philanthropic efforts (charitable donations).
  • Review, plan, and assign weekly tasks to the CSR team, ensuring clear priorities, timely execution, and alignment with overall CSR targets and deadlines.
  • Provide senior-level guidance and support to the CSR team, helping them overcome challenges and meet their objectives effectively.
  • Ensure that due diligence is performed on potential partners and projects to assess their alignment with CSR goals and ensure the proper use of company funds.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of CSR initiatives, preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including community organizations, NGOs, and government agencies, to build partnerships and enhance our CSR efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to integrate CSR initiatives into daily business operations.
  • Promote CSR initiatives through internal and external communications while engaging employees in activities and programs. Ensure compliance of CSR programs with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on the latest CSR trends, corporate philanthropy, and best practices.
  • Undertake any other relevant responsibilities as assigned.
Main requirements:
  • University Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Corporate Social Responsibility or a related fiend.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, with proven experience managing a corporate giving portfolio and successfully overseeing CSR programs.
  • Strong team management skills, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and support team members to achieve set goals and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to assess the impact of CSR initiatives from both a financial and social perspective.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for making a positive impact on society and the environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
