GRS are working with a reputable and well-established accounting and advisory organization who pride themselves on providing clients with premium quality professional services by addressing their exact business needs. We are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join their Nicosia team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Company adheres to all legal standards as well as internal policies and procedures.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCreating and reviewing regulatory compliance documentationMaintain documentation of compliance activities, such as received / investigation outcomes/compliance reportsCoordinating the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures resulting from new laws and regulationsApplying and interpreting audit compliance requirements for various departmentsDesigning and coordinating the preparation and ongoing review of policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure departments meet compliance requirementsInteracting with external auditors on matters related to audits of the organization’s internal controlsEntering data into the AML Software, review of client documentation and archives and issuance of risk profilesEstablishing compliance monitoring programsFiling regulatory reports and other documentation. Acting as a channel of communication for regulatory authorities and partners and other relevant third partiesPreparation of the Annual Risk Management Report, the Annual Compliance Officer report and the AML Questionnaire as well as any other required reportsCoordinating rollout and training of new or updated policies and directives when required Evaluate the efficiency of controlsImprove current strategies if necessarySupervise and oversee the work of colleaguesCreate reports for the Firm’s managementCANDIDATE PROFILEPrevious working experience as a Compliance Officer of at least 4 yearsKnowledge and understanding of the industry’s regulations and best practicesHands-on experience with a variety of reporting operations and proceduresBA in Law, Finance, Business Administration or similar related fieldICPAC’S AML/CFT CertificationAmbition to succeed, motivation, commitment, initiativeProfessional disciplineTeam working skills with value added contributionBusiness mindedIT skillsGood organizational and time-management skillsAbility to multi-taskStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCritical-thinker and problem-solverFluent in Greek and English languageCOMPANY BENEFITSOur client offers a competitive salary package including 13th salary, provident fund, medical insurance, flexible working hours, afternoon off every Friday throughout the year and training opportunities.Due to the high volume of applications we receive at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.To apply for this position, please email your CV to Nikoletta Constantinou, quoting the above job reference or call +357 25 342 720 for further information.
