Financial Accountant (VAC-A2253)

• Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable. Record financial transactions and ensure entries are posted timely and accurately. Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Preparation of monthly managements accounts including cash flow. Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
• Audit, Tax and Compliance: Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support as required. Prepare and submit timely and accurate direct and indirect tax returns.
• Payment Processing and Bank Communication: Processing outgoing payment and incoming bank transfer and communication with banks
• Process improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process enhancement within the finance function and contribute to the implementation of best practices
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments including operations and management to collect relevant financial information.

• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience in similar position
• Experience in an audit firm is preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Knowledge and experience on Cyprus VAT and VIES regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Advantage)
• Additional certification such as ACCA/ACA, LCCI, CySec (Advantage)
• Proficiency in financial software, such as Netsuite and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and perform in deadline-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
