Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the daily execution of tasks relating to deposits and withdrawals.
  • Leading the risk assessment of all transactions related to deposits, withdrawals, and credits, to identify potential fraud and other related issues, and take all necessary actions.
  • Resolving internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Preparing of various regulatory reports related to back-office/administration.
  • Identifying and enhancing internal procedures, systems, and controls.
  • Taking initiative, delegating effectively, and communicating clearly to meet the department's goals.
  • In addition to the above duties, the team leader from time to time will be required to undertake additional or other duties.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the back-office team, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Continuously assessing and streamlining back-office processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Training, mentoring, and motivating team members to optimize performance and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Liaising with other departments to facilitate seamless cross-functional collaboration.
  • Preparing regular reports on back-office performance metrics, including transaction volumes, error rates, and turnaround times.
  • Addressing and resolving escalated issues and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Leveraging technological tools and systems to automate routine tasks and enhance productivity within the back-office environment.
  • Ensuring timely completion of back-office tasks.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in back-office operations within the financial services industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality.
