- Conduct legal research and provide advice and support to various internal functions and teams within the firm on a broad range of legal issues, including economic sanctions, as required.
- Draft, review, analyse, and negotiate various types of legal documents, including contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and other documents.
- Address data protection matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and conduct internal training sessions for teams across all lines of service, enhancing legal and compliance awareness.
- Identify and assess legal risks and provide recommendations and assistance in implementing suitable mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with colleagues from the Office of General Counsel to develop and enhance policies and guidelines, ensuring the firm's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide any further assistance as may be required by the Office of General Counsel.
- University degree in Law (LLB Hons)
- Completion of the Cyprus Bar exams is a requirement
- A postgraduate degree in Law (LLM), the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or the Bar practice course (BPC), or other relevant professional qualification would be considered an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience at a law firm or as an internal legal adviser
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
- Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
- Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, with an ability to take initiative, solve problems and deliver results
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
- Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner
