REQ12531 Cashier, F&B (Open)POSITION SUMMARY:The Cashier, F&B is responsible for providing professional, prompt and efficient service assistance to the assigned Outlet’s monetary transactions as well as preparing and maintaining money bags and floats.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assumes responsibility of the assigned Outlet’s POS
F&B Server handling cashier
Assists in waiter, bartender, host or steward tasks if requested by the Outlet Supervisor
Performs monetary transactions including but not limited to cash and credit cards
Ensures all transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner including communicating shift hand-over issues and completing shift-end balances
Ensures all paperwork is presented and organized in an audible manner
Prepares equipment, station, stock, float, floor prior and after service
Anticipates guests need and strives to exceed their expectations by following guidelines given by Management
Holds a thorough knowledge of the casino and hotel layout in order to ensure that guest queries can be answered or referred promptly
Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming
Attends training sessions and meetings when required
Ensures all duties are performed in strict compliance with relevant policies and procedures of City of Dream Mediterranean
Maintains positive relations with other staff and departments
Participates in training and other activities to facilitate high team performance
Adheres to all Company policies and procedures
Reports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisors
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors due to business requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:Experience
Minimum 1 year of previous customer service and cash handling experience preferably within the Hospitality industry
Education
High School diploma
Qualifications related to the Hospitality Industry is an advantage
Skills
Knowledge of POS systems is an advantage
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Time management and organizational skills
Excellent command of English, Greek and other languages highly regarded
