
Financial Controller - Nicosia-based

- Oversee accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process.
- Prepare and coordinate statutory reporting.
- Maintain and enhance business processes, internal controls, and accounting policies.
- Liaise with external auditors and address any financial discrepancies.
- Perform additional financial management responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field; postgraduate degree in Finance is desirable.
- 3+ years of proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
- Fully qualified accountant ACA / ACCCA.
- Excellent knowledge of English (C2 level certification desired,
- Excellent accounting software user, Microsoft Excel and administration skills.
- Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
