- The PSP product manager will work with cross-functional teams to drive the PSP product vision, manage the PSP product backlog, and deliver features that provide significant value to our merchants.
- This role ensures that security best practices, compliance requirements, and quality management principles are integrated throughout the product development lifecycle.
- New PSP Integration Requests
- Define project scope and gather requirements
- Coordinate with merchants and PSPs for scope clarification
- Draft technical specifications for the development team
- Manage progress and delivery in line with company priorities
- API Update Requests
- Analyze requested updates and their impact
- Define priorities and technical requirements
- Oversee execution and ensure alignment with business needs
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate in PMO-coordinated projects where PSP expertise is required (not as a project manager, but as a contributor)
- Act as the PSP integration subject-matter expert in communications with PSPs, internal teams, and stakeholders (via Telegram, Teams, Slack, calls, etc.)
- PSP Product Ownership
- Lead internal PSP-related product requests
- Collaborate with the Praxis Product team to define requirements and roadmap items
- Track and manage progress from ideation through implementation
- Provide developers with clear and actionable technical specifications
- Knowledge Sharing & Documentation
- Maintain and enhance the internal PSP Knowledgebase
- Provide internal stakeholders with up-to-date information on PSP flows, features, and integration specifics
- Deliver flow recordings and documentation to support operational clarity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a technical background is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in product management or technical project management, ideally within the fintech, payments, or e-commerce sectors.
- Proven experience managing API-based product features or integrations, preferably with PSPs (Payment Service Providers).
- Strong understanding of PSP ecosystems, transaction flows, and API architectures.
- Familiarity with security standards and compliance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Ability to draft detailed technical specifications and interface effectively with development teams.
- Working knowledge of QA methodologies and software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating with external vendors and cross-functional internal teams (Product, Dev, QA, InfoSec, Compliance).
- Comfortable using collaboration platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance and secure development practices.
