
Payments Technical Lead - Limassol

- Serve as a senior technical point of contact in the Limassol office for global payment operations.
- Investigate and resolve complex transaction issues, including authorisations, declines, chargebacks, refunds, and settlements.
- Analyse payment data and system logs to identify patterns, optimise approval rates, and improve efficiency.
- Support merchant onboarding, integration testing, and API configuration.
- Collaborate with acquirers, card schemes, risk teams, product managers, and developers to resolve issues and implement improvements.
- Produce clear incident reports, root cause analyses, and performance dashboards.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and technical documentation
- Proven experience in a PSP, acquiring bank, or fintech environment.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, card scheme operations, and transaction lifecycles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with spreadsheets, reconciliation reports, and transaction data.
- Familiarity with APIs, payment gateways, and integration testing (basic scripting/SQL is an advantage but not essential).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical details to non-technical audiences.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a multi-office, collaborative environment.
- English fluency required.

- Located in Cyprus
- The working day are Monday – Friday.
- There is a shift pattern in place for this position. It’s until 10:00 pm and is done on a rotation with the rest of the team. The team member working until 10:00pm will work from home.
